At the August chapter meeting, members discussed the communications challenges of Horses for Healing, a local nonprofit organization. Linda Brown (above), executive director, and Susan Koehler, a Horses for Healing board member and a member of our PRSA chapter, led the presentation. Horses for Healing is a nonprofit therapeutic riding center for individuals with special needs in Northwest Arkansas. In addition to the therapeutic program, Horses for Healing offers a Sports Riding Program providing advanced equestrian training and activities for independent riders that includes group lessons, camps and competitions. |
