This position will be part of our Consumer Communications team which supports the agency by understanding how consumers interact with brands as well as the channels and messages that move them to engagement through strategic thinking and results-oriented program development.
The Account Executive is primarily responsible for tactical activities of a client service team and regular contact with clients and assigned accounts. Job Duties:
• Client Service:
o Works with Supervisor and others to develop and implement plans, build relationships and lead client thinking.
o Recommends solutions that help build the client's business.
o Manages client communication for project initiatives.
o Writes creative briefs.
o Leads creative services in tying project execution back to the client's objectives and creative brief.
o Plans, organizes and executes digital and social media programs on behalf of clients.
o Ensures quality management.
• Project Management:
o Partners with Supervisor to ensure successful execution of initiatives and delivers results to meet or exceed objectives.
o Participates in budget oversight.
o Oversees work flow for client projects on a daily basis.
o Organizes, manages and distributes meeting notes within 24 hours of internal and client meetings.
• Digital and Social Media:
o Understands various user groups; implements digital and social media activities to effectively reach these groups.
o Builds overall digital and social media communication experience and knows the client's business.
o Possesses excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
• Pursues professional growth and development
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have 2 - 4 years of public relations or related experience, be flexible, highly motivated and have the experience and ability to provide consistent client and team support and to be a leader within a client team.
Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferred areas: communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field.
• Comfortable in a very fast‐paced and changing environment
• Background in digital and social media preferred
• Reliable, deadline and detail‐oriented
• Ability to manage multiple projects and activities
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment as well as handle work independently

Responsible for leading, training and monitoring the sales and marketing efforts of the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau and Clinton House Museum; providing administrative assistance and interpret matters of policy to operating divisions and to the A & P Commission; supervising and providing back-up administrative support to department employees. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. College degree required and minimum of 2 years previous CVB/A & P/Operations experience or equivalent required. A qualified applicant would own a good camera, and be able to attend events and then provide 10-20 quality photos of the event along with photo cutlines and a short story about the event.
Feature writers with experience are also needed to provide coverage of the arts & entertainment sectors in the Fort Smith and Northwest Arkansas areas.
Previous journalism experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
